About Us

Cambia Flute Ensemble is a professional performing group based in the Tri-Cities (Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol) region of Tennessee. Formed in 2009, Cambia Flute Ensemble is comprised of four professional flutists from the Upper East Tennessee area: Dana Bellino, Eileen Butler, Elisa Wardeska and Emily Webb.

The opportunity to explore the limitless possibilities of the flute repertoire is the guiding force in Cambia's formation. Adding to the arts culture, both regionally and beyond, by presenting quality music and striving for excellence in sound is another benefit from their endeavor. Cambia is fast-gaining the reputation for combining a top-caliber performance of challenging and engaging music, combined with an evident camaraderie and sense of humor between its members and the audience.

Cambia's repertoire encompasses a broad range of musical genres, including music written specifically for flute ensembles as well as transcriptions and arrangements for other instruments. Their music features added depth and breadth of sound by using the piccolo, alto and bass flutes, in combination with the more familiar concert flute. Member Dana Bellino adds to the group's repertoire with her own arrangements and original compositions.

Cambia has performed many concerts since its formation. Check the "about our concerts" website page for in-depth details. Cambia has also performed at Biltmore and Bristol's Paramount Center for the Arts, plus several weddings and receptions. In March 2010, they were the featured program as part of the Performing Arts Alliance of Rural Tennessee's First Concert Series at the Historic Palace Theater in Crossville, TN.

Cambia Flute Ensemble is available for weddings, parties, receptions and other special occasions. Visit our Music Samples page to get a taste of the possibilities from Cambia's repertoire. Please contact us to check availability and pricing.
